"Sleepwalker" painting process
Preliminary stages of new work showing my under drawing and line work. I have blocked in the rough under drawing using charcoal as well as graphite and white chalk in places. The canvas is deep edge primed and underpainting background is completed with an oil wash of grey.
Using charcoal after roughing in the main drawing I will then continue to paint the ground work in and plan on completing this painting using "The Zorn Palette" which consists of 4 colours Cadmium red, Ivory black, White and Yellow Ochre.
