My painting "Portrait of a Modern Family 2018" is shortlisted for the Zurich Portrait Prize in the National Gallery of Ireland with a 20,000 euro prize.

My painting "OFFICE WORKER" was accepted into the Royal Ulster Academy which is to be exhibited in the Ulster museum in Belfast ,14th October 2016 up until the 8th January 2017. A great privilege to be exhibiting amongst some of Irelands finest Irish Artists.

"Sleepwalker" painting process
Preliminary stages of new work showing my under drawing and line work. I have blocked in the rough under drawing using charcoal as well as graphite and white chalk in places. This painting was featured on Channel 4's House of the Year 2013 in Grand designs TV show hosted by Kevin McCloud.
Using charcoal after roughing in the main drawing I will then continue to paint the ground work in and plan on completing this painting using "The Zorn Palette" which consists of 4 colours Cadmium red, Ivory black, White and Yellow Ochre.
