Featuring lifelike pencil drawings and expansive, imaginative acrylic and oil
paintings, Maguire's work reflects his interest in the County Down landscape,
the circles of life and the people around him.
Maguire was born in
Belfast and attended De La Salle secondary school before continuing

in New York.
Returning home, Maguire has now been working
steadily as a freelance artist specialising in illustration, ceramics, website
design and framing, as well as working in every type of medium that is
accessible to him with regards painting and drawing. His paintings are
inspired the County Down environment, everyday events, personal
experiences, friends and family. He also frames and mounts all of his work.
